YOUR FIRST VISIT
A Few Things You May Be Wondering
We want you to feel comfortable when you visit. Here are answers to a few questions first-time visitors often have.
What should I wear?
You don’t need to dress a certain way to worship with us. Most of our members dress casually, but respectfully. Come as you are.
What happens when I arrive?
You’ll usually find greeters at the door to welcome you, give you a visitor bag, and help direct you to the auditorium or a Bible class.
What about my children?
If you arrive in time for Bible classes, a greeter can help direct your children to the appropriate classroom. Children are also welcome to stay with you in an adult class or in the auditorium.
If you need a quiet place during class or worship, a nursery overlooking the auditorium is available so you can still hear the service. And don’t worry—we love the sound of babies in our auditorium!
Will I be singled out?
We treat our visitors as our welcomed and honored guests and will not do anything to embarrass them. With that said, we are a friendly bunch and would love to get to know you.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What will worship be like?
Our worship is simple and centered on God. We seek to worship as Christians did in the New Testament, with each part of our worship grounded in Scripture.

Singing
We sing together as a congregation without instrumental accompaniment. Everyone is encouraged to join in, but visitors are welcome simply to listen.
Prayer
Prayers are offered during our worship as we praise God, give thanks, and bring our needs before Him.
Preaching
A lesson from the Bible is presented to encourage us, teach us, and help us apply God’s Word to our lives.
At the conclusion of the lesson, an invitation is offered for anyone who wishes to respond to the gospel or request the prayers of the congregation.
The Lord’s Supper
Each Sunday we remember the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus by sharing the Lord’s Supper.
Giving
Our members have an opportunity to give to support the work of the congregation. As our guest, you are not expected or pressured to contribute.
How long does it last?
Our worship services last no longer than about an hour and a half. Afterward, don’t be surprised if several people stop to say hello—we enjoy spending time together!
